Last weekend Phil & Jeff were seen running in helper service on the Hillcrest & Wahotke RR near Reedley. A rather substantial freight consist needed help over the route, and the call went out to the rather stout Glenwood number one-three, bringing up the rear with crummy in tow.
On the head end were the North Pacific Coast #12, and the Glenwood #5. Cut in the middle of the train was the Redwood Valley #11. With this four engine lashup, quick work was made of the turn and we all went to beans in short order.
